‘Aztec God’

I’ve long been fascinated by the iconography of ancient cultures – to me they seem to represent a way of relating to the world that we have lost. This cheeky chappy is my re-incarnation of an Aztec sculpture. With this I wanted to express something of the piety of making offerings, but also that that involve rituals, perhaps just going through the motions. I particularly the figure’s guilty expression – perhaps he’s worried his lack of attention will land him in trouble.

Shipping Policy

Artwork is usually dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment. Shipments via DHL are trackable and require a signature upon delivery.

The cost of shipping includes all handling, packing and postage costs. The total shipping cost varies according to the weight and dimensions of the shipment. We will always seek to minimise the shipping costs whilst seeking to ensure that goods reach you undamaged.

No UK tax is applied to any orders shipped overseas. However, the purchaser of the items will be responsible for any importation taxes, duty or charges levied at the point of importation. Since January 2021 that includes all countries in Europe. If a package has not arrived or products have arrived damaged in transit then please contact us. We shall seek to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. We send all our artworks via insured TNT delivery. This covers the full value of your artwork against all risks.

Returns Policy

If you are not happy with your artwork we will refund you within seven days after you receive it. To be eligible for a refund or exchange, you must first email us within 7 days of receiving the artwork at info@willcottrellart.com then return the item to us. In order to be eligible for a return, the purchased artwork must be returned in the same condition your received it. It should also be in the original packaging. If the returned artwork is damaged you will not be eligible for a refund.

You will be responsible for covering the shipping costs when returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund the cost of the return shipping may be deducted from your refund. As you will be returning a valuable item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item and that it will arrive without damages.

Once your artwork is received and inspected we will send an email to notify you that we have received your returned artwork. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
