Satyr

In Greek mythology, satyrs were wild, lusty woodland spirits embodying revelry, desire, and mischief. In this piece, the satyr is reimagined not in the forest but on the pavement, caught mid-strut like a familiar Friday night apparition.

Floral patterns wrap the figure, clashing and curling across its many limbs—part ornamental, part camouflage.

This is masculinity as myth and masquerade: primal, performative, and oddly delicate. A satire of the satyr.
